89.29 Percent Target Residents in North Thousand Islands Have Received First Dose Vaccine

North Thousand Islands Sub-district Health Center continues to accelerate COVID-19 vaccination for residents from 12 years old to elderly. Based on data from August 2, 2021, as many as 11,625 residents or 89.29 percent of total target 13,019 residents have been vaccinated with first dose vaccine.

North Thousand Islands Sub-district Health Center Head, Achmad Sigit mentioned, 3,808 residents or 29.25 percent of total target 13,019 residents have been vaccinated with second dose vaccine.

Vaccination Center at MRT Block A Station Serves 1,864 Residents

"Vaccination is one of our efforts to avoid severe symptoms when exposed to COVID-19. Even though we have been vaccinated, we still have to comply with health protocols," he stated, Tuesday (8/3).

According to him, COVID-19 active cases in three urban villages of North Thousand Islands Sub-district is decreasing.

"There are still 17 active cases. One resident is currently treated in hospital, while 16 others undergo self-isolation," he explained.

Related to the finding of one resident in Harapan Island Urban Village who was exposed to COVID-19, local urban village PPKM command post officers and medical team had traced their contact history.

"Yesterday, tracing has been carried out to 26 residents by carrying out antigen swab test. Their results are negative," he conveyed.
